What is process color?

Process color refers to the use of a set of primary colors (typically cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, known as CMYK) to create a full spectrum of colors in printing. By combining varying percentages of these four colors, printers can produce a wide range of hues. This method is commonly used in color printing because it allows for a broad color range with a relatively small number of ink types.
